Guides on finding, understanding and dealing with wasp nests.
Filling the hole where wasps enter looks like the obvious fix, yet it often drives them deeper into the building, so the repair belongs after treatment and not before.
A good many wasp remedies passed around in conversation are dangerous, ineffective or both, and knowing why makes it easier to resist trying them.
Wasps indoors with nothing to attract them can point to a nest in a wall cavity or ceiling. See the signs, what to avoid doing, and how to book help.
Crumbling mortar or a missing section of pointing is a small defect to a homeowner, but to a queen wasp in spring it looks like a ready-made nesting site.
Children and pets are curious and quick, and they rarely notice the warning signs a wasp nest gives off, so the adults need to do the noticing for them.
“There is nothing worse when you are having a children's birthday party and the day before you notice loads of wasps in your garden, they were all going into a small hole in the ground I called the pest controller up and he said he would come over as his last job as he said it wouldn't be soon enough the next day, he came over treated the nest and the children knew no different. Highly recommend these guys.”
Mr Jacobs“if I hear of any my friends or neighbours who need a wasp nest treating this is who I will be sending, very friendly and fast and sorted it our for me thanks.”
Jade“I would recommend this company they were out to sort out.my nest the same day and a lot cheaper than other companies I tried in the area.”
Heidi STell us where the wasps are and we will call you back to arrange a visit. Fixed price £95, no call-out charge.
