Guides on finding, understanding and dealing with wasp nests.
If wasps are coming and going near your family’s garden door, the hours before the technician arrives matter, so here is how to keep everyone safe while you wait.
The biggest danger in a do-it-yourself wasp job is often not the sting but the fall that follows, which is why staying on the ground matters so much.
Hearing buzzing or scratching in a wall or ceiling may mean a wasp nest. Learn what the sounds mean at a Daybrook property and what to do next.
Wasps are not out to harm people, but a colony reacts strongly to anything it sees as a threat, and understanding that makes it easier to stay out of trouble.
Watching what an insect does is often more reliable than judging its colour, and a few minutes of observation can tell you whether you need a beekeeper or a wasp technician.
